North Shore residents rejoice! There's a Kowloon documentary in the works. And you might even get to be part of it.

Boston 25 News reported on the story. And the legendary Chinese restaurant on Rt. 1 in Saugus posted this on their social media accounts:

I wish I’d had a Handicam or a Super 8 growing up, because if I did, I’d certainly have footage of my family at the Kowloon. I grew up in Greenwood, the part of Wakefield that borders Melrose and Saugus. The Kowloon Restaurant–along with the Hilltop Steak House–was a regular stop for family celebrations. As I remember it, for birthdays on my Mom's side of the family, we’d usually stop at the Hilltop. If it was for an event on my Dad's side of the family, it was the Kowloon. My papa loved the lobster sauce. And my aunts and uncles still love the Mai Tais.

I’ve written a ton about The Kowloon over the years. In fact, just last year, I kicked off my holiday vacation there, with a family meal on Christmas Eve. Robby Roadsteamer is back in town, and I was sharing some of his new videos, where the legendary restaurant is featured prominently. And if you’re following squareonemallgoth on Instagram, you know the Kowloon gets mad love.

So, my fellow North Shore loves, start scouring your cellars and attics for footage of your cousin's Sweet 16 family dinner at the Kowloon back in the ’80s. Maybe you’ll make the documentary! And watch this space for updates on when it will release.

These 64 Massachusetts breweries are competing in our Boston Brewery Battle. Your votes will decide the winner.

Here at ROCK 92.9, we don't limit our brackets to the madness of March. Bracketology is a year-round affair. You might remember our King of the Hills bracket, where we fielded a total of 64 mountains, resorts, and ski areas from all over New England. Yes, even Rhode Island was represented. Naturally, the Ocean State's Yawgoo Valley Ski Area was the 64 seed. Naturally, they lost to top-seeded Killington in Vermont in the first round. For that bracket, we laid out a list of 64 essential New England ski resorts. Because the best voter is an informed voter. In that same spirit, we’d like you to get to know the 64 Massachusetts breweries that made the field for our Boston Brewery Battle. It wasn't easy narrowing the field down to 64, believe it or not. The Commonwealth is rife with excellent craft beer makers, from the North Shore to the South Shore, from Metro West to the city proper to the Cape and Islands. So if your favorite didn't make the cut this time around, expect to see them next time.

In the spirit of fairness, we’ve listed the breweries alphabetically, not in their seeded order. If you want to see the seeding, you’ll have to dive into the actual bracket, which you can do here. Just use this list as a reference point. It's highly unlikely that you’ll be familiar with all 64, right? After you take a scroll through you will be!
