Designer Harry Nuriev and his Crosby Studios outfit are no strangers to playful, tongue-in-cheek products and collaborations. In the past, they’ve cooked up a sofa made out of trash bags, created a pixelated "Web-3 Café" and even released a full line of bright blue home goods. Now, Crosby Studios is bringing its unique perspective into yet another realm by joining forces with Avgvst Jewelry for the "Cutlery Collection," a tasty (and tasteful) capsule of silver earrings, necklaces and more.
Created to commemorate the opening of Avgvst Jewelry's new flagship store in Berlin — which, itself, was designed by the Crosby Studios team is inspired by the concept of a "dark kitchen," AKA a kitchen that cranks out takeout and delivery orders with no sit-down dining aspect — the collection repurposes dining essentials like forks, knives and spoons. There's a necklace that alternates between the three, a hanging earing that goes knife-fork-spoon, a single charm that displays all three essentials, a round earring that the aforementioned charm can be mounted on and a spoon bracelet, making for a multi-course "meal" of silver jewelry. The offering marks the second collaboration between Crosby and Avgvst, as it's a follow-up to a Mardi Gras-inspired collection the two produced in 2021.
The Crosby Studios x Avgvst Jewelry collection is available now via the Avgvst Jewelry webstore. Prices range from €50-€290 EUR (approximately $53-$310 USD).
