Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked the world when they made their first debut as an engaged couple on November 27, 2017, just a little over a year after they confirmed their relationship. Although the fairytale narrative of a former actress becoming royalty definitely piqued the public's interest, what really made headlines was the bride-to-be's stunning diamond rock. The sparkler was seen as a more traditional style compared to other celebrity and royal engagement rings, but even so, the delicate design and timelessness of the piece quickly gained attention and is still one of the most widely-known jewels of all time.

The stunning sparkler features a three-carat, cushion-cut center diamond which holds a special place in the pair's hearts. Harry sourced the stone from Botswana—the location where the couple took their relationship to the next level—and integrated a small symbol into the accessory to commemorate the country where they truly fell in love. "Meghan's engagement ring is very unique, full of little design details that nod to the couple's relationship history and the family that she is now a part of," Janie Marshall of Clean Origin explains.

The middle stone is then flanked by two round diamonds—each estimated at under a carat—which Harry retrieved from Princess Diana's personal jewelry collection. "Meghan was never able to meet the late Princess Diana, so this ring keeps her present in their relationship and brings her into their love story in a poignant way," Marshall notes. Finally, to tie it all together, the three gems are set on a yellow gold band made by royal jeweler Cleave and Company. Though the previous band was Meghan's favorite at the time, since the proposal, the Duchess of Sussex updated her sparkler by swapping the original band for a micro-pavé one.

Today, Meghan Markle's diamond jewel has spawned countless copycat designs, with many people seeking to find a replica of this royal accessory. If you’re eager to get your hands on a similar style, we’ve compiled a list of three-stone diamond engagement rings that resemble Meghan's iconic piece. Here are some of the best options you can buy right now.

If you want to emulate Meghan's updated ring, this "Lisbon" three-stone style from Clean Origin is a pretty close replica. With the option to select a yellow gold metal and a cushion-cut center stone, the only real difference is the channeled band, which Marshall says adds "extra sparkle."

Another alternative that's nearly identical to the original rock Harry designed is the "Classic" option. This piece features a cushion-cut center stone with two round diamonds on either side, but with a slight minimalist twist. If you’re interested in more of a simple look, this piece of jewelry is your best bet.

The name of this sparkler speaks for itself. Inspired by the royal's one-of-a-kind ring, this option checks all of the boxes: a cushion-cut center stone, two round-cut diamonds, and a yellow gold band. This piece is also reminiscent of Meghan's initial ring and is ideal for those who prefer a classic style.

With a cushion-cut center diamond and a yellow gold hue, this "Monroe" ring from Gabriel & Co. closely matches Meghan's stunning sparkler. What's slightly different, though, is the presence of two half-moon side diamonds instead of round-cut jewels á la Markle.

For an additional option that captures Meghan's first ring before the upgrade, opt for this style by Brilliant Earth. With a three-stone trellis setting and an 18K yellow gold band, this sparkler is pretty close to the real deal but for a fraction of the price.

Even if you’re on a budget, you can still secure a look-alike ring with this affordable two-carat alternative from Etsy. Although it features a round-cut diamond in the middle and a white gold band, the resemblance is still apparent.

For the glamorous finacé-to-be who just can't get enough glitter, this diamond-studded option will certainly turn heads. The three primary round-cut diamonds are engulfed in a halo of round-cut gems—paired with additional pavé diamonds that line the split-shank band—for a style that exudes glitz and glam.

This style has the same characteristics as Meghan's three-stone accessory, but with a trio of emerald-cut stones instead. We love this option as gives the illusion of a larger engagement ring, and it's the perfect choice for those who have an Art Deco edge.

For those with vintage-inspired style, this "Coralie" ring combines Meghan's classic design with an old-school flair. As of late, marquise-cut diamonds are extremely popular, so we can also see this stunner on modern brides-to-be with royal-inspired aesthetics.

Although the overall carat size is smaller than Meghan's three-carat rock, this ring by Neil Lane features the same central elements. One distinguishing facet of this piece, though, is its 14K white gold band that features engraved floral and migraine edges for vintage feel.

Searching for another budget-friendly choice that still evokes Meghan's style? Look no further than this gorgeous option from Zales. Since this option features lab-created white sapphires, instead of real diamonds, you’ll pocket extra cash without sacrificing quality. What's more, although Meghan's band is yellow gold, the sterling silver alternative is a lovely choice.

Courtesy of Blue Nile

Since round-cut diamonds are one of the most popular ring shapes, you can't go wrong with this Meghan Markle-inspired rock from Blue Nile. In this design, two round diamonds are placed beside a round-cut center stone (set on a petite micro-pavé band) for a look that exudes elegance.

Courtesy of Vrai

For a fashionable and luxe twist on Meghan's rock, this show-stopping piece from Vrai x Brides features an oval-cut center stone for a trendy design. The best part, though, is that this option offers more bling, by way of five gemstones as opposed to the trio of diamonds the Duchess of Sussex wears.

If you love Meghan's ring but want to add a pop of color, look no further than this Blue Nile jewel. However, what we personally love the most is that the round-cut diamond center stone, paired with the pear-shaped side sapphires, combines the best of Meghan and Kate Middleton's engagement rings into one.
