"Meghan was never able to meet the late Princess Diana, so this ring keeps her present in their relationship and brings her into their love story in a poignant way," Marshall notes. Finally, to tie it all together, the three gems are set on a yellow gold band made by royal jeweler Cleave and Company. Though the previous band was Meghan's favorite at the time, since the proposal, the Duchess of Sussex updated her sparkler by swapping the original band for a micro-pavé one.
